wrightAllan F. Wright, Fellow of the Principium Institute, is husband to his wonderful wife Desiree and father to their four children. A life long New Jersey resident, he is currently the Academic Dean for Evangelization in the Diocese of Paterson, NJ at St. Paul Inside the Walls. He is also an Adjunct Professor in both the School of Theology and the Department of Catholic Studies at Seton Hall University.  A specialist in Catholic theology, Professor Wright teaches the courses, Biblical Call Narratives, Spirituality of Sports: A Catholic Perspective and The Parables of Jesus: Models of Evangelization.
Author of eight books, Allan has written for Servant Publication, Franciscan Media, Catholic Book Publish Corporation and Ave Maria Press and has been published numerous articles in print and online publications. His books have been translated into Italian, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese. He has reviewed over 60 books for the Catholic News Service and served for close to 20 years on the Newark Archdiocesan Commission for Inter-religious Affairs.
Allan is a popular guest host on Relevant Radio (1430am) which reaches the Tri-State area of NJ, NY, and CT. He also has a show on Radio Maria in which he broadcasts each Sunday at 2pm Est and is rebroadcast Tuesday evening at 10pm. For over twelve years Allan has volunteered teaching Sacred Scripture to the Missionary of Charity Sister (Contemplative)  -St. Mother Teresa’s Sisters -who are in formation each week in Plainfield, NJ. He has given 3 Day Retreats to the Active MC Sisters as well.
